Post subject: Some great news about Europe from the Italian ESC website!!!
Here is the (approximate) translation of the last update the Twins made on their website!
Forgive me for the owful translation (I made it in a rush)... despite of this I hope you can catch the sense of what I have written!!!
Some great news!!!

Europe at the moment are busy with a tour to promote the forthcoming release in Scandinavia of the new DVD "Live from the dark". They are taking part to some radio and TV shows for some interviews, which ones are going to be printed on some magazines and newspapers, too.
Next Wednesday 7th December (official release date of the new double dvd "Live from the Dark" in Scandinavia) they will have a "signing session" in a disc shop in Stockholm.

Last Saturday 3rd December Europe showed up at Sweden Rock Festival kick off to promote their new DVD.
This special night took place at Globen Annexet in Stockholm.
When we entered the venue, the first thing we could notice was that the walls of that place were literally covered with advertising posters of "Live from the dark" by Warner home video
The show began with the radio station program SR P4 "Dist", during which one on the stage two local bands received a special prize.
Later, Europe members arrived in limousine and walked to the radio station positioning, welcomed by an incredible ovation, like the ones you can hear in a stadium: they have a brief interview and take the opportunity to promote the new DVD "Live from the dark" and they throw to the public a copy of the dvd and some other promotional merchandise!
They are in their best shape, after a whole day of non-stop interviews for print, radio and tv.
Ian has a new tattoo over the right ear, a wing of an angel!
They leave the stage smiling and with the tunes of "Superstitious" in the background...

Suddenly the radio station positioning calls for Kee Marcello and Easy Action, which ones announce that the band re-united and will be on tour during the summer. The first gig will be the one of SRF! They leave the stage with the wonderful tunes of "We Go Rockin'"

About 9 p.m. Europe are back, this time at the "signing session", on a side stage where lots of fans are waiting for obtaining an autograph on their new copy of the dvd, exceptionally sold in pre-sale that night!!!

The night went on with some live performances of some bands, such as Saxon.

The band is already working on the new album and a good part of the job has already been done!
Six songs are practically finished and ready to be recorded. Three songs have been written by John Norum. Other three songs have been written by Joey Tempest. For arrangements of all of the six songs both Joey and John has co-operated... let's say they made 50% each!
One seventh song is almost ready!
All Europe members are very enthusiastic about the new songs, which ones will make the new album a heavier album than "Start from the dark"!
They are supposed to enter the recording studio about April next year!
